Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Configera, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Service Description

Configera is a parametric design automation platform operated by Bimodel under the Configera brand. The platform enables users to extract and modify CAD parameters, generate design variations, and share product portfolios.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Token System & Purchases

Configera uses a token-based system for certain platform operations. Tokens are digital usage credits and are non-transferable.

• Tokens are purchased as one-time packages or included in subscription plans
• Tokens are consumed when performing specific operations (exports, conversions)
• Unused tokens from subscription plans do not carry over to the next billing period
• Token prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes

5. Subscriptions

Subscription plans provide recurring access to platform features and a monthly token allocation.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current period
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
• Downgrading may result in loss of access to certain features

6. Payment & Billing

Payments are processed through our merchant of record partner, which handles billing, tax calculation, and compliance on our behalf.

• All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted
• Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are calculated and collected automatically
• Invoices are generated automatically after each successful payment
• Failed payments may result in suspension of services

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your CAD models, designs, and content uploaded to the platform. Configera does not claim ownership of your data.

• Your designs and CAD files remain your intellectual property
• You grant Configera a limited license to process your files for service delivery
• Configera platform, code, and branding are our intellectual property
• You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the platform

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Configera only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

• Do not upload malicious files or content
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Do not use the platform to infringe on others intellectual property
• Do not resell or redistribute platform access without authorization

9. Limitation of Liability

Configera is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bimodel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may also terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases, but we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow retrieval.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kocaeli, Turkey.
